Nokia and T-Mobile USA have today confirmed that the QWERTY keyboard packing Nokia E73 Mode Series 60 powered smartphone, which is ‘designed to help balance the need to stay connected with one’s work and personal life at home or on the go’, will hit the US network later this month.

The candybar 3G Nokia E73 Mode, aside from sporting the aforementioned full QWERTY keyboard (the E73 Mode is set to become the thinnest full QWERTY keyboard smartphone available from T-Mobile, incidentally), comes with a 2.4” 16M color 320 x 240 resolution display, a 5 megapixel camera with flash (supplemented by a secondary front mounted camera to facilitate video calling), GPS, 250MB of integrated memory which can be supplemented with MicroSD/MicroSDHC cards, integrated media player and FM radio and, in terms of wireless connectivity, both Bluetooth (v2.1 with A2DP) and WiFi are in evidence.

“The Nokia E73 Mode brings style and function in an affordable device without compromise,” said Mark Slater, vice president, Sales, Nokia. “Working together with T-Mobile, the Nokia E73 Mode enables us to bring our customers a ‘Work & Life’ solution that allows consumers and businesses to be as productive as possible, while still providing an exceptional consumer value and performance.” And, as far as business usage is concerned, the E73 Mode includes support for services such as IBM Lotus Traveler, support for and access to Salesforce.com, Bloomberg and more to ‘help business customers bring their office with them while on the go’ whilst you can also factor in Ovi Files, QuickOffice, Adobe PDF Manager and ZIP Manager as well as a full web browser (with Flash support).

The Nokia E73 Mode is expected to become available via T-Mobile stores, and via T-Mobile’s online portal, from 16 June when it’ll set you back around $70 based on you signing yourself away on a new two-year agreement.
